The latest version of Google’s flagship browser, Chrome, introduces a new security panel in DevTools allowing users to explore all the security features on any Web page. By opening DevTools, a user can see every network request their browser receives. That means you can keep tabs on identity (certificates), connection (protocols and cipher suits) as well as subresources. In previous versions, a green lock appeared on the left corner of the URL tab to indicate when a user is connected to a secure HTTPS website.
