True story: I once paid Paris Hilton $3000 to tweet about our event


In 2012 the internet was a different place and TNW an equally different company. We worked out of a small office in the city centre of Amsterdam that we shared with two other startups and the speaker agency ran by CEO Boris’ girlfriend. I was the second hire the company could afford on events, but what TNW’s team of 17 employees lacked in size it made up in talent.
