Watching cassette tapes get made is like nostalgic mediation


I’m pretty sure this is what zen feels like. I’m not arguing we should go back to cassette tapes, but after watching them get made I’m semi-certain this trance-inducing process is how Buddhists find nirvana. The electronic soundtrack and excellent camera work add to the excitement of the experience. As the music builds to a crescendo, and the camera cuts from one part of the process to another, I’m left with the feeling that something truly magical is happening.
