Slack now lets you set your status to whatever you want

Sometimes you need to step away from Slack, whether to pick up a phone call, head to a meeting, or you just need a break. Unfortunately, that will often lead to your coworkers frantically trying to find you, probably because the message where you told them got buried into oblivion. While you could mark yourself as ‘away,’ that’s hardly descriptive. Fret no more: you can now set your status in Slack to whatever the heck you want.
