iOS 11 makes QR codes cool again


iOS 11 is loaded with new features, but some of the best ones are the things Apple didn’t discuss on the WWDC stage. For example: the camera app can now scan QR codes by default, no extra software necessary. If you open up the stock camera on the developer beta of iOS 11 and point it at a standard QR code, you’ll get a pop-up prompt with the decoded text or action.
